This year we seek to become aware of our first territory that is our body, as well as its relationship with our mind and heart. The theater of peace provides children with a safe and welcoming space to think freely, feel and BE. When children are heard they become able to recognize the consequences of their actions, this leads them to take responsibility for themselves and their emotions, generating strategies on how to transform difficult feelings, such as anger and fear. This is the essence of the transformation of personal conflicts. Through the core of this Peace Camp that are the "3 C's": Creativity, Compassion and Courage. It may seem complex, but we believe in the power of small things and simple tools, such as the ability to listen and listen to others: we believe in the power of art and the power of peace. |
We trust that through the arts; From music, theater, visual arts, Clown, psychology, a prepared and diverse team, we will build a place where children can express themselves and BE. A space that provides the opportunity to fail, to learn from error and from the emotions that most want to hide for fear of being judged. The clown technique is the basis of this Peace Camp, because it gives children, as well as teachers, the opportunity to try. We are an invitation to the best effort, while playing to imagine a fairer and freer world.
