In 2013, La Bufón S.O.S.ial was invited
by the
Maya Research Program (MRP)
to return and participate in
a program to recover identities through
the arts with children, youth and the community.
Yaxunah is a strategic archaeological site
that serves as an important
model for other communities.

La Bufón S.O.S.ial
 is supporting the work
of needs planning to strengthen
language skills, cultural identity
and help young people and children
recover from the effects of
colonization and war, protect
natural resourcesand recover knowledge
about traditional and medicinal plants.

This year 4 artist  will return
to work with the Yaxunah
theater company "Mayalenials",
children and youth are inspired
to create their own show in
their Mayan language and be
able to present it in their own
and nearby communities,
and most importantly,
reactivate the archeological site
as a cultural center.
